- Sources Sought: The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA/VA), James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital located in Tampa, FL, is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of SMALL BUSINESSES, particularly in the SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN community, capable and interested in providing Aluminum Fence/Gate repair services at the Department of Veterans' Affairs, VA Brevard County Outpatient Clinic located at 2900 Veterans Way, Viera, FL. Independently, and not as an agent of the Government, the Contractor shall furnish all parts, labor, equipment, supplies, travel, supervision, etc., to repair/remount fence post and panels, replace/repair picket extensions and post caps, overhaul gate mechanisms (i.e. chains, gears, etc.), repaint, and perform other related services which will maintain the above-mentioned equipment in optimum operating condition. The anticipated performance period is approximately 120 calendar days after award. Any resulting procurement would be conducted under authority listed in FAR Part 12. The applicable NAICS Code is 238990 and the size standard is $12.0 million dollars. Responses to this announcement shall determine if sufficient competition exists in the small business community in order to set this procurement aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. The anticipated release date of the solicitation package is 28 April 2005. All qualified and interested parties are encouraged to participate. Please provide notice of your interest in this requirement by responding to this notice no later than 2:30 p.m. 25 April 2005, EST. Please indicate business size, capability statement(s), and other pertinent information about your business and specific experience in the requirement listed. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION, OR BID; THE DVA IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS OF ANY KIND; THE DVA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SOLICIT THIS REQUIREMENT AS APPROPRIATE.
