- Description
- FISC Norfolk – Contracting Department, Philadelphia Division intends to acquire services and material necessary to operate and maintain the Inactive Ship On-Site Maintenance Office at Philadelphia, PA. These services include the alteration services such as receipt, inspection, survey, maintenance and disposal of Naval vessels. It is intended to negotiate a cost-plus-award-fee modification to an existing contract with Global Associates of Irvine, CA on a sole source basis. This sole source action will provide contractual coverage until the commencement of services under the competitive follow-on contract. The authority for this sole source action is 10 USC 2304(c)(1). The period of performance will be 7/22/05 through 9/30/05. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1.
