- Description
- This is a notice of intent to issue an award to the incumbent, Sytex, Inc., 2003 South Easton Road, Doylestown, Pa 18901-2466, to continue performance of instructional support for Advanced Special Operations Techniques at the United States Army Special Operation Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Fort Lewis, Washington. The period of performance is 1 May 2005 through 21 November 2005. The continued support will allow the Government additional time to compete the requirement for instructional support. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. A SECRET facility clearance is required. Responses are due no later than 19 April 2005, 2:00 PM EST. Interested organizations may submit information for consideration of their capabilities and qualifications to Ella Porter at portere@soc.mil.
