- Description
- The Acquisition Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk VA, 23511-3392 intends to issue a Firm Fixed-Price contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures for communication consoles for use by the Commander Navy Region Mid-LANT, Norfolk, VA. The required delivery date is projected to be 31 May 2005. A complete description of the communication consoles will be included in the solicitation. The Contractor shall provide and install the communication consoles at Commander Navy Region Mid-LANT, Norfolk, located at Building N26, 1510 Gilbert Street, Norfolk, VA. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 337211. This procurement has been set-aside one hundred (100) percent for small business concerns (See numbered note 1). All qualified small business offerors are encouraged to submit an offer. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal.
