- Description
- Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, has a requirement for packing/unpacking, crating/uncrating, containerization/de-containerization, and local drayage of household goods and unaccompanied baggage in the vicinity of Anchorage, Alaska. Services to be performed for outbound, inbound, and local area moves of military and civilian Department of Defense personnel. Performance of work to be in accordance with Department of Defense Regulation 4500.9R, Part IV, available at http://public.transcom.mil/j5/pt/dtr.html. Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be based on Appendix G (including appendices G1-G5). The solicitation or Request for Quote (RFQ), FA5000-05-R-0001, will be issued as a 100 percent Small Business (SB) Set-Aside. The government may make multiple awards for any or all schedules. Period of performance is 01 April 2005 through 31 December 2005 (base year) plus seven one-year option periods (2006 through 2012). The NAICS code is 488991; the SIC code is 4783; size standard is $21.5 million. The solicitation will be issued on or about 15 January 2005 with a closing date on or about 30 January 2005. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (http://www.ccr.gov/index.cfm) to be eligible for award. The solicitation will be available on the internet at the Federal Business Opportunities web site, http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Please note that paper solicitations will not be issued, and all documents related to this acquisition will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities web site.
