- Description
- This project is for the installation of cathodic protection systems at up to ninety-seven (97) missile launch facilities (LFs) located within the 10th and 12th Missile Squadrons NNE of Malmstrom AFB (Great Falls)Montana. Work consists of the contractor providing all material, plant, labor, equipment, supervision and incidentals required to remove anodes from existing pvc cased deep buried wells, drilling new wells (as required), installng new anodes, new well vents, backfill material, removing existing rectifier cabinets and anode boxes, installing new rectifiers, new anodes, reference cell cabinets, installing permanent reference cells, associated wiring, installing fencing as well as additional work required by the project specifications and drawings. This project requires a full time cathodic protection specialist (NACE Certified Level 4) to be on site. This Request For Proposal will be available on or about 2 May 2005. The Request For Proposal will close on or about 2 June 2005. The performance period for on-site work is ten (10)days per site/LF. This will be a requirements contract with a base year, plus four (4) option years. This acquisition is open to both large and small business in accordance with the Small Business competitive Demonstration Program. The Request For Proposal is available by electronic transmission only at http://www.eps.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site http://orca.bpn.gov/) The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Classification System Code is 238190. Size Standard is $12,000,000.00.
