- Description of requirement: The DSR&URET ISMT Group,ACB-710 at the FAA, William J.Hughes Technical is requesting an extended warranty on a Solaris Host Interface Device,(SOLHID)A Sunhillo product used on the user Request Evaluation Tool for the agency. Purpose of Announcement:In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS)Paragraph 3.2.2.4,the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA'S decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures. The FAA,William J. Hughes Technical Center intends to award a single contract to Sunhillo to continue servicing this product due to the company being the Original Manufacturer,(OEM)of this product. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (13-APR-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
