- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a sole-source contract with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation to provide non-recurring engineering efforts to engineer and develop an installation kit for the Common Aircraft Architecture System (CAAS) into the VH 60N aircraft.It includes the associated program management, system engineering, detail design/support, and logistics planning. Sikorsky is the original equipment manufacturer, system integrator, and current depot level maintenance provider for the VH-60N, and is the only source with the requisite knowledge, proprietary data, and expertise of the VH-60N design, operation, and maintenance to meet the Navy?s requirement to integrate the VH-60N Cockpit Upgrade Program (CUP) into the VH-60N aircraft. The period of performance is estimated at 10 months. Numbered Note 22 applies.
