Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. Solicitation, W52H09-05-T-0293, for the following item will result in a Firm-Fixed Price, 5 year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. FOB is Destination. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Estimated Issue Date is April 27, 2005. The item to procure is Inverter, Static P ower, NSN: 6130-01-495-0740. The item to procure is an Inverter, Power, Static converts 24 volt DC to 120 Volts, 60HZ AC, with 1000 watt output. The part is stand alone, fixed unit conforming to UL 458, and shall be provided with mounting holes on its b ase for attachment to a flat deck. The size is not more than 12 inches side to side X 8 inches top to bottom, and 15 inches front to back. Requirements are: Minimum Guaranteed Quantity is 3; Maximum Contract Quantity is 500. For use on the Body Explosi ve Ordnanace Disposal (BEOD). This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to th em prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
