Description

Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA) is modernizing the White Phosphorus (WP) munitions filling facility located at Pine Bluff Arsenal. The contractor shall furnish all services, materials, supplies, labor, management, travel and transportation required for desi gn, fabrication, assembly, testing, inspection, quality assurance, acceptance, delivery and integration of all systems for the modernized WP facility at Pine Bluff Arsenal. The contractor shall also be responsible for the demolition of the existing facilit y. The solicitation includes a 90% design package that contains specifications, drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams, process flow diagrams and equipment data sheets for individual systems. These specifications shall assist the contractor in the final design and procurement of equipment for the modernized WP facility. The contractor shall be responsible for the following systems: WP railcar unloading and storage facility; Munitions Fill System; Degreaser System; Munitions Paint Booth; Munitions handling system; Pick and place devices; Munitions leak test ovens; Heating, Ventilation and air conditioning systems; Scrubber System; Wastewater Treatment facility; Control room modular building; Fire Detection and alarm system; Wet Pipe Sprinkler and d eluge systems; Closed circuit TV (CCTV) system; and control system. Request for Proposal W911RP-05-R-0019 will be issued on or about 27 Apr 05 with closing date on or about 10 Jun 05.
