- Description
- The US Coast Guard anticipates solicitation and award of a Firm Fixed Price contract consisting of One twelve-month Base Period and Three twelve-month Option Periods for the purchase and installation of a Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) Flight Data Acquisition Unit (FDAU) that will interface with L3 Communication?s FA2100 Series Combination Voice and Flight Data Recorder (CVDR). The CVDR is currently installed in the USCG fleet of twenty-seven (27) HC-130H aircraft. The Government intends to use the procedures of FAR Part 12 and 13.5 for this acquisition. The NAICS is 334511 and the size standard is 750 employees. The USCG intends to issue the solicitation as an unrestricted procurement. Complete specifications and requirements such as software, testing, training, baseline assessments, etc. will be provided in the Solicitation. Instructions to Offerors and Evaluation Factors will also be provided in the Solicitation document. The Solicitation HSCG38-05-Q-500011 will be issued AFTER this Pre-solicitation Notice?s closing date has passed. The Solicitation will be posted and made available for downloading at this FedBizOpps website. Contractors are encouraged to register in the FedBizOpps ?Vendor Notification Service? (located on the FedBizOpps homepage) to receive all notices for solicitation HSCG38-05-Q-500011 including the solicitation package. The solicitation can also be requested via email to Denise Hall at dhall@arsc.uscg.mil or faxed to 252-335-6849. Telephone requests will not be honored. A closing date for receipt of offers will be established upon issuance of the Solicitation. An anticipated award date has not been established. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Note 12 applies.
