Description
The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment to perform all work required to accomplish a Digital Camera and DVR upgrade to the CCTV system at the US Federal Building and Courthouse in Williamsport, PA. The project is to upgrade analog security cameras outside of the building to new digital cameras. It also upgrades the storage of surveillance video to a DVR recording device. Two of the cameras are Pan/Tilt/Zoom and 6 are stationary. The cameras and DVR supplied by the contractor must meet or exceed the specification and they must be mounted, wired, protected, focused, aimed and etc. as per the specification that will be supplied to qualified contractors. Seven (7) of the cameras are approximately 24? off the ground and one (1) is approximately 36? from the ground. All measurements and quantities given here are approximate; it is up to the contractor to determine all actual measurements and quantities. It is estimated that this project will range in price from $25,000.00 to $50,000.00. The approximate duration of this contract will be sixty (60) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Award will be a Small Business Set Aside Firm Fixed Price contract and the procurement method will be a competitive negotiated RFP. Source Selection Procedures as identified in FAR, Part 15.3 will be utilized in the selection of a firm offering the best value to the Government in terms of price and technical merit and whose performance is expected to best meet stated Government requirements. Accordingly, offerors will be evaluated based on technical merit with respect to demonstrated successful past performance. Offeror must provide three similar type and size jobs performed within the past (5) years. For this procurement, technical evaluation and price factors are of equal value. The NAICS code applicable to this project is 561621. Copies of this solicitation will be available approximately April 22, 2005.
