- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to award an ?M? type Purchase Order with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) provisions on a competitive basis to obtain Multimedia Projection System Equipment and Installation efforts required to outfit seven conference rooms in B-990, B-1171, B-1258, B-1259, B-1302, B-1319, and B-1320. Only one of the seven rooms requires a screen. The list of equipment is as follows: Hitachi CPX880 Projector Qty 7; Chief Mount-RPA-885,CMA-0305, pipe Qty 7; Extron 474xi A/V interface Qty 8; DaLite Model B 70x70 screen Qty 1; Misc. Cables and Hardware Qty 7; on-site Installation efforts at Newport, RI for all the above. The RFQ will include a Mutimedia System Specification with Conference Room layouts including Installation instructions. Equipment Delivery terms are FOB destination Newport, RI with inspection and acceptance at destination-Newport, RI. The Government plans to issue a request for written quotation using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. There is no procurement history. Award will be based on Best Value and the criteria is Technical Capability, Price, and Past Performance. The anticipated award date is on or about 10 MAY 2005.
