Description
Region 3, US Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS) solicits offers to acquire Architect-Engineering Services to include planning, design, drafting and construction management for construction, maintenance and/or rehabilitation of various facilities on National Wildlife Refuges, National Fish Hatcheries, research laboratories and other FWS locations within Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa and Missouri. These facilities typically consist of small office buildings, visitor centers, maintenance buildings, vehicle storage buildings, hazardous material storage, and comfort stations, as well as utilities associated with these structures. Facilities also include roads, trails, parking lots, bridges, dams, dikes, canals, pumps and water control structures, water supply, raceways and holding ponds, boat landings, fences, gates, recreation and visitor facilities. Work will include civil engineering (structural, geotechnical, hydrology, and hydraulics), surveying, and landscape architecture capabilities plus related disciplines and support personnel. The resultant contract will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract for a one year period with four (4) one-year options. Maximum delivery orders to be awarded during any period of the contract will be $600,000 per year, with a minimum guarantee of $1,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541330 with a small business size standard of $4 million. This solicitation is unrestricted, solicited for full and open competition. If a large business is selected for this contract, an approved subcontracting plan will be required in compliance with FAR 52.219-9.
