- Implementation of Emergency Stabilization treatments designed to protect life and property from flooding and debris flows following catastrophic wildfires, as well as post-flood repair of damaged treatments. Primary work shall include, but not be limited to: project management, cost tracking, reporting; removal of sediment from channels, catch basins, small reservoirs, roads; installation of guard rails and gates; installation of hazard warning signs; installation of erosion control materials such as mulch, netting, wattles, rip-rap, K-rails-Jersey barriers, and sandbags to protect homes and other high valuable resources; construction of erosion control structures to protect bridges and road crossings; construction of low-water or Arizona type crossings and protection, repair, or re-capping of small dams. Ancillary work to include, but not limited to, engineering-design studies, drilling/geographical studies, and environmental assessment, mitigation, and monitoring. The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Pacific Regional Office, proposes to issue a Basic Ordering Agreement for the above requirements. Bid documents will be available at no charge on-about April 30, 2005.
