- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W31P4Q-05-T-R016. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and cl auses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-02. The requirement is for a Pressure Transducers for the Thermobaric/Enhanced Blast Enclosure, Qty 4, ETS-IA-375-25 psi, Qty 12, ETS-IA-375-50 psi, Qty 16, ETS-IA-375-100 psi, Qty 6, ETS -IA-375-200 psi, and Qty 6, ETS-IA-375-500 psi. The award will be made on a Firm Fixed-Price type contract, Inspection/Acceptance/FOB will be destination. All responsible sources may submit an offer and shall be considered by the Agency. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible Sources. Anticipated award will be to Kulite Semiconductor Products, Inc., One Willow Tree Road, Leonia, New Jersey 07605. Any award issued o n this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Pro vision 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors, Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items; and Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, are appl icable to this acquisition. Offer is due not later than COB, 20 April 2005, in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B152, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. Electronic quotes/offers are acceptable. Quotes/offers received after the specified date wi ll not be considered for award.
