NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. PRON: AX5C0193AX, NSN: 3010-01-330-4855, PN: 3010CH4 7D-1/8, QTY: Min: 46 ea, Max: 138 ea. This requirement is RESTRICTED to Boeing Company and Formsprag LLC. This requirement is a Base Year Plus 2-Year Option, applicable to the CH-47, with deliveries to Stockton, CA 95296-0130. This IS a Critical Safety Item. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acqui sition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activitys proc edures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. A Contractor First Article IS require d. Production Lead-time with First Article Testing is 46 each, 302 DACA. Production Lead-time without First Article Testing is 46 each, 201 DACA. Production Lead-time with Article II Clause is 46 each, 251 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source App roval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirements. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign f irms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for aw ard. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.
