This requirement is a Base Year Plus 2-Year Option, applicable to the CH-47, with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001, Stockton, CA 95296-0130, and Corpus Christi, TX 78419-5255. 75507-5000. This IS a Critical Safety Item. This item is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside RESTRICTED to Olympic Tool & Machine, Cage Code: 56811, and Jamco Aerospace Inc., Cage Code: 7G467. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maint ain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturi ng knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activitys procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures mus t be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. A Contractor First Article IS required. Production Lead-time with First Article Testing is 60 each, 401 DACA. Production Lead-time without First Article Testing is 60 each, 267 DACA. Production Lead-time with Article II Clause is 60 each, 334 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirements. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and ma y be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
