Countryman, Contract Specialist, Cynthia Santos (315) 772-5441 DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal s are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W911S2-05-T-0074 is issued as a Request for Quotes. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulations. The sta ndard industrial code is 3357 (NAICS code 335921) and the business size standard is 1000 employees. Furnish and deliver the following: 6 ea Military Tactical Fiber Optic Cable Assembly (Single-mode 6 strand, breakout construction, Pre-terminated with SC or ST connectors, Ends are ruggedized for field deployment, assembly is transportable on a reusable m etal reel with 2 handles and take-up crank, and painted in latest desert color), 6 ea Male-Female ST to SC converter adapters and 6 ea Male-Female SC to ST converter adapters. Consideration will be given to equal or better fiber optic equipment; specifica tions must be included for review.
