Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W911S2-05-T-0075 is issued as a Request for Quotes. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulations. The stan dard industrial code is 7373 (NAICS code 541512) Produce and deliver the following platforms: 12 ea Military Tactical Operations Audiovisual Platforms. These platforms are required to interact with 4 computers; provide real time interactive imaging on a 3 foot by 4 foot Screen. The frame must be compr ised of a lightweight, durable material, which can be quickly erected and stowed into a single container. When erected, the platform must be no larger then 6ft wide, 5ft deep and 7ft high. In its carrying configuration it must be no larger then 6ft wide, 3ft deep and 5ft high. The complete platform must not exceed 300 pounds. The projector at a minimum must meet the following requirements; Resolution - XGA (1024 x 768), Lumens 2000. The projection screen must have a viewing area of 3ft by 4ft and be made of a durable material suitable for extended field use; an interactive white board is a viable option. The platform must possess at a minimum an 8 X 4 video matrix switch with an internal uninterrupted power supply that operates in a click and drag enviro nment. All cabling required to operate this platform to include interacting with computers must be included. The platform must include operating instructions, spare parts for short life items and a limited warranty; specifications must be included for re view. Must be able to produce and deliver 12 platforms NLT 20 May 2005. Award may be based upon delivery date, price. The following clauses and provisions are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, 52.212-3, Offero r Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (returned with your offer), 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders, 252.212.7001-Contract Ter ms and Conditions required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (JAN 2005). All venders must be registered with central contracting regisrtation (CCR), failure to due so may result in no award.
