Description
SERVICE/REPAIR OF TI1300 CRASH RESCUE The contractor shall provide all tools, management, supplies, equipment, transportation, and labor necessary to repair TI1300 Brash Rescue Truck 98L580 at 15th Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS), Vehicle Maintenance Squadron, as specified in the Statement of Work.Completed repairs will ensure the vehicle meets serviceability standards directed in Air Force Technical Order (T.O.) 36-1-191, and meets all vehicle manufacturer operating specifications. STATEMENT OF WORK TI3000 CRASH RESCUE TRUCK 1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment (except those identified in paragraph 2) and labor necessary to repair TI3000 Crash Rescue Truck 98L580 at 15th Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS), Vehicle Maintenance Section, Hickam AFB, HI. To ensure all maintenance performed meets the manufacturer?s specifications, the contractor must provide at least one factory certified/EVT technician on site. Repairs (labor) will have a one year warranty from date of completion. In addition, 24/7 technical assistance shall be provided by the contractor to 15 LRS mechanics whenever the vehicle requires emergency repairs. 1.1. BASIC SERVICES. The contractor shall perform all service/repairs identified below to return TI3000 Crash Rescue Truck 98L580 to safe and serviceable operating condition. All repairs must meet the manufacturer?s operational specifications. Required vehicle service/repairs are as follows: 1.1.1. Perform a complete bumper-to-bumper inspection on entire vehicle to include practical run and performance test, refract the foam systems, and a complete safety check of all vehicle functions. 1.1.2. Perform complete lube, fluid change, and filter change. Included will be training for the LRS mechanics on proper service procedures. 1.1.3. Remove/replace 2 front ? shafts on the outboard side of the 3rd member. 1.1.4. Remove/replace all shock absorbers complete with lower mounting studs and upper rubber bushings. 1.1.5. Remove/clean skid plates on all 3 axle assemblies and tighten all 3rd member bolts. Reassemble 3rd member sections and install skid plates. 1.1.6. Remove/replace 3rd member output shaft seals on #2 left side axle assembly and #1 right side axle assembly. 1.1.7. Inspect and adjust vehicle brakes. 1.1.8. Remove/replace foam and water level gauges in cab and compartments. 1.1.9. Remove/replace all pump panel pressure and suction gauges. 1.1.10. Rebuild complete bumper turret assembly. 1.1.11. Rebuild relief and pilot valves for pressure control system. 1.1.12. Repair right front preconnect valve. 1.1.13. Remove/replace structural primer pump and valve. 1.1.14. Remove/replace left and right engine exhaust manifolds. 1.1.15. Inspect, test, and refill dry chemical system. 1.1.16. Inspect and repair tank mounting system. 1.1.17. Repair horn. 1.1.18. Repair cab fans. 1.1.19. Repair left side spot light assembly. 1.1.20. Inspect and repair auxiliary spot lights and wide lights. 1.1.21. Remove/replace left and right power exterior mirrors and control switches. 1.1.22. Remove/replace left and right rear fender support mounts and realign fenders. 1.1.23. Remove/replace all roll up compartment side rubber moldings. 1.1.24. Repair engine hood latches and safety prop. 1.1.25. Repair left rear step assembly. 1.1.26. Remove/replace left and right cab door seals. 1.1.27. Remove/replace labels on rocker switches on interior of cab. 1.2. MATERIAL DISPOSAL. The contractor shall dispose of removed/used vehicle parts/materials in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local pollution laws and regulations. 2. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES. Government will provide contractor use of 1 (one) work stall in Bldg 1073 Special Purpose Shop, vehicle jack/jack stands and air supply lines for contractor-owned pneumatic tools/equipment. Government will supply all required lubricants/fluids to service the vehicle. 3. GENERAL INFORMATION. 3.1. QUALITY ASSURANCE. The government will periodically evaluate the contractor?s performance to ensure ongoing repairs meet with the government?s satisfaction. Once all repairs are completed, a final quality assurance inspection will be performed by the vehicle using organization to ensure the truck is 100 percent operational. 3.2. HOURS OF OPERATION. Organization hours of operation are 0615-1500, Monday-Friday. Job should require no more than 40 consecutive days to complete. 4. APPENDICES. None.
