Description

The 10th Mission Support Group, Directorate of Contracting, United States Air Force Academy Colorado, intends to award a sole source commercial contract to Palmer Electric, Inc., a small, women-owned business concern. The requirement is to provide operational and maintenance services on the DPI International MAXX-NET Security System and Proximity Locks for USAFA CO. The period of performance for this acquisition is: a 5-month base period - 01 May 2005 thru 30 September 2005 w/four (4) one-year options (Option One ? 01 Oct 05 thru 30 Sep 06; Option Two ? 01 Oct 06 thru 30 Sep 07; Option Three ? 01 Oct 07 thru 30 Sep 08; Option Four ? 01 Oct 08 thru 30 Sep 09). Palmer Electric, Inc. is the exclusive dealer/distributor of DPI International ? Dorado Security Systems and MAXX-NET group of access control products in the Colorado Springs region. Award of this contract to any other company will jeopardize the interoperability and could disrupt the performance of this critical mission system. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561621 and the size standard is $10,500,000.00. All responsible sources may submit a response, which if timely received, will be considered by 10MSG/LGCB.
