Description
This is a request for information / sources sought announcement to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. The Air Force Metrology Calibration Detachment is considering a purchase of a Synthesized Level Generator that will be used by the Air Force Primary Standards Laboratory (AFPSL) and the Air Force's Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratories (PMELs). It has a frequency range from 1 Hz to 125 MHz, with a resolution of 0.001 Hz and timebase stability of 5 x 10-10/day, output power from - 100 to at least + 16 dBm, with resolution of at least 0.01 dB and absolute output level accuracy of 0.05 dB (at 100 kHz). It will have both 50 and 75 ohm outputs. Attenuator accuracy (relative to max output power at 100 kHz) will be 0.04 dB (0 ? 20 dB), 0.09 dB (20 ? 60 dB), 0.20 dB (60 ? 100 dB). Frequency response (50 & 75 ohms) will be 0.07 dB (1 kHz ? 25 MHz), 0.15 dB (1 Hz ? 125 MHz). Harmonics will be less than ?45 dBc, and nonharmonically related spurious will be less than ?75 dBc. Offerors responding to this sources sought market research must (1) state whether they are a small or large business, (2) indicate if they are a small disadvantaged or woman-owned business, 8(a) firm, or a historically black college or university or minority institution (HBCU/MI), or a historically underutilized business zone (HUB Zone) small business; (3) advise if you have the item on a GSA schedule, (4) provide information concerning the technical capabilities of the product you are interested in offering, including commercial literature/brochures. (5) advise if you accept the Government purchase card, (6) any other pertinent information which would enable the government to assess your firms capabilities, (7) Provide Point of contact and assigned Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. This synopsis is for planning purposes only and is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited hereunder. At this time, no solicitation exists. Submit all responses to this notice to the point of contact listed below.
