- Description
- The Department of Justice (DOJ) intends to negotiate with Makro Services, Incorporated, to extend the term of the DOJ contract, 99-C-0143 for custodial services at the Robert F. Kennedy Main Justice Building located at 950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20530. The extension shall be for a period of approximately four (4) months, or until the new custodial contract is awarded, whichever is later. The extension will commence on May 1, 2005. DOJ has encountered unexpected delays with the follow-on competitive procurement. Please note this extension is necessary to allow sufficient time to complete the acquisition process. Contract 99-C-0143 expires on April 30, 2005. This extension will ensure uninterrupted services while the competition is conducted. The anticipated solicitation release date for the new custodial contract is April 21, 2005. The statutory authority for the proposed contract modification is 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1).
