- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Geac Enterprise Solutions, Inc. of Atlanta, GA under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The purpose of this simplified acquisition is to provide custom software maintenance and support for their Fixed Assets System and Management Analysis & Response System for Government (MARS/G) products. The MARS/G system is comprised of Accounts Payable, General Ledger with Budgetary Control, and Purchasing Systems. This award will be made utilizing the simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13. Interested concerns having the capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirement may submit a capability statement in a written narrative format detailing the concern?s ability to meet the objectives of this requirement. Capability statements must reference RFP057193 and must be sent via fax to (202)324-3104. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available; therefore, requests for such a document will be considered invalid responses. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. See Note 22. However, if no affirmative responses are received within 6 days from the date of this notice, the Contracting Officer will pursue a sole source contract for a base period of six months with four one year options with Geac Enterprise Solutions, Inc.
