Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential Comprehensive Sanctions Center (CSC) services for male and female Federal offenders within the city limits of Las Cruces, New Mexico. (Dona Ana and Otero County). Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Comprehensive Sanctions Center? (CSC) as Revised by the CCB (Community Corrections Branch) through October 2003 and modified November 2004 by the El Paso CCM (Community Corrections Manager) Office. This is a firm-fixed unit price requirement type contract. The services are estimated to be 71% male and 29% female. The estimated number of inmate days is 24,888 (males) and 7,320 (females) for the base period; 12,410 (males) and 3,650 (females) for option year one; 12,410 (males) and 3,650 (females) for option year two; and 12,410 (males) and 3,650 (females) for option year three, respectively. The solicitation will be available on or about May 9, 2005, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of the solicitation is July 7, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
