Description
Modification is as follows: Lunch/dinner meal will consist of no less than a 2oz 100% ground beef pattie burger. All terms and conditions remain unchanged Customs and Border Protection has a requirement for an on-demand food service to provide freshly prepared meals to the Tucson Sector detention facility in Tucson Arizona. This is an indefinite quantity contract with monthly invoices. The performance period of this acquisition will be base period from date of award to September 30, 2005, with three (3) options, Option year 0ne (1) from October 1, 2005 to September 30, 2006, option year two (2) from October 1, 2006 to September 30, 2007, option three (3) from October 1, 2007 to September 30, 2008. Breakfast meal will consist of no less than one egg & one slice of American cheese prepared on either a croissant, biscuit or tortilla Lunch/dinner meal will consist of no less than a 4oz 100% ground beef pattie burger with one slice of American cheese on a plain roll or bun Ketchup and mustard will be added to sandwich at time of preparation. Absolutely no onions or pickles are to be added at any time. Milk 10oz container (no glass), 1%- 2% Fat content It is expected, but not guaranteed, that the Government will order the meals listed above. It is understood that there is no definite number of breakfast, lunches or dinners implied. Base year: Breakfast sandwich estimated at 42,000 Lunch/dinner sandwich estimated at 191,000 Milk estimated at 21,000 Option years 1,2,3: Breakfast sandwich estimated at 73,000 Lunch/dinner estimated at 191,000 Milk estimated at 36,000 The Contracting Officer?s Representative will order breakfast, lunch and dinner on an as needed basis. The Tucson Sector Headquarters Border Patrol Station will be placing orders three times daily, i.e., breakfast, lunch and dinner. A minimum of one to two hour notification will be given, depending on quantity required (i.e., under 100 sandwiches will require 1 hour notification; over 100 sandwiches will require 2 hour notification). Any vendor within the 5-mile radius shall be Government pick up, vendor outside the 5-mile radius will be required to deliver meals. This acquisition is conducted under full and open competition. Written quotes will be accepted by fax, mail, and courier. NO FORMAL SOLICIATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED
