The United States Postal Service (USPS), Great Lakes Facilities Service Office (GLFSO), is seeking interest from General Contractors to prequalify for one or more Indefinite Quantity Construction Contracts (IQCC)/Job Order Contracts (JOC) for repair and alteration projects within the State of Indiana Area which include: See attached Areas and Counties. The contract renewal option may be exercised at the discretion of the USPS Contracting Officer. The minimum work ordered during the contract period, including any renewal options, will not be less than $10,000. A JOC is an indefinite quantity construction contract pursuant to which the contractor will perform a series of individual projects at different Postal Service facilities. Prequalified contractors will propose a Contract Multiplier and Premium Time Multiplier to be applied to a Unit Price Schedule. Contractor agrees that the Contractor Multiplier and/or the Premium Time Multiplier under this contract, when used in determining the total amount of the work order, includes all profit, overhead, bonds, insurance and other contingencies, over and above the direct costs of construction. Regular working hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work ordered during premium time, as directed by a specific detailed scope of work, will be paid at the contracted Premium Time Multiplier. The multiplier submitted by the offeror must not be more than four decimal places (e.g. 1.2222 or 0.9700). This multiplier will apply to each unit price in the Unit Price Schedule. General Contractors must meet the following minimum requirements to apply: (1) your firm must have an office located within the State of Indiana and must be willing and able to perform work on all projects that may occur within any of the geographical areas.
