- Description
- The following are amendments to the RLEP-LRO-RFI-03-23-05 document released on March 23, 2005: 1. The title is to be changed from Micro-Electromechanical System (MEMS) Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) to Micro-Electromechanical System (MEMS) Inertial Reference Unit (IRU). 2. The RLEP has decided there is no need for accelerometers on the LRO mission. The RFI response does not need to include information about accelerometers. 3. Performance numbers for Angular Random Walk, Bias, Scale Factor, and Angular White Noise are three sigma values (standard deviation of three). 4. Bias performance value should be 3.6 deg/hour not 0.06 deg/hour. The bias is still 0.001 deg/sec. 5. The RFI response date has been changed to later than 5:00 PM EST April 29, 2005.
