The Patuxent River Naval Air Station has a requirement to repair a Firing Range which was purchased and installed by Carey?s Heating & Air Conditioning, 7301 West Duvan Drive, Tinley Park, IL 60477, which is a small business. They are the manufacturer and they are the only authorized dealer to perform these services as per FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis shall be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice or received as a result of a notice of intent shall normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
