- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) requires the manufacturing and delivery of seventeen (17) Nitrogen Check and Fill Units P/N: 70700-77669-041 and an additional four (4) one-year option periods for a maximum quantity of one hundred (100) option units. The Nitrogen Check and Fill Unit is utilized on the H-60 aircraft. The Nitrogen Check and Fill Unit is Peculiar Support Equipment for the H-60 aircraft. The Nitrogen Check and Fill Unit provides the capability to transfer a regulated source of nitrogen from a 3000psi source at the required 8-14 psi. The check/fill unit is comprised of a portable self-contained unit with a supply pressure analog gage, regulator, detachable regulator and an analog pressure gage, and an air hose. The Nitrogen Check and Fill Unit is used on the H-60 Aircraft to check the blade pressure and service the main rotor blade spars with a minimum loss of spar pressure. The Nitrogen Check and Fill Unit will be manufactured from a Government furnished drawing package. The Part Number and National Stock Number for the Nitrogen Check and Fill unit is as follows: P/N: 70700-77669-041, NSN: 4920-01209-3076 and NAICS 336413 applies. The Government anticipants awarding one Firm-Fixed Price contract through competitive Small Business Set-Aside procurement procedures. The solicitation will be posted on the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil. Select ?Doing Business? and then ?Open Solicitations." Look for amendments on the web page. Hard copy of solicitations and amendments will NOT be mailed to contractors. The solicitation will be posted on the web, on or about 2 May 2005, drawing will be provided upon your written request.
