- The US Army Signal Command has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services in support of Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The proposed contract is for one year with four one-year option periods. The local exchange service p rovider certified by the state of Texas PUC shall provide local commercial communication service for Fort Sam Houston, Texas. All responsible sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large, small, disadvantaged, and/ or women-owned business. For this acquisition a concern will be considered small under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) under 517110. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the forma t contained at FAR Part Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
