Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, FA4801-05-T-0253, is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-02. The solicitation listed here is 100% small business set aside. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 3990 . The associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3999. The North American Industry Classification System is 333999 and the associated business size standard is 500 employees. This request for quotation consists of the following: Item 0001: 4 ea BOSS-8 FOD BOSS sweeper assemblies, Towed friction mat sweeper. Unit includes sweeper assembly, debris retention mesh, safety release towing assembly, TA-7 hitch adapter, carry/storage bag, owners manual, hitch extender, and pintle hook adapter. Item 0002: 2 ea DHB-16 Duplex hitch bar for FOD Boss Sweeper. Telescoping tow bar for operating two FOD BOSS sweepers together to cover a 16 foot wide path. Receiver hitch type. This applies to all line items. If quoting OR EQUAL provide specifications otherwise your quote could be considered unresponsive. FOB: Destination for delivery to: 49 CES/CERF, Bldg 49, Holloman AFB, NM 88330. Required delivery date: 10 May 05. The following provisions and or clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration FAR 52.209-6 Protecting the Governments Interest When Subcontracting with Contractors Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52-212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, and complete the requirements asked for in FAR 52-212-3 Representations and Certifications, DFARS 252.232-7003 Electronic Submissions and Payment Requests https://wawf.eb.mil. FAR 52-212-2 - Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the synopsis/solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Award shall be based on a lowest overall price to the Government.
