- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of a Life Connections Program Facilitator as part of the Life Connections Pre-Release Program for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Complex Petersburg, Virginia. The services will be provided to individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment. The LCP Facilitator contractor shall be responsible for, but not limited to coordinating all program components, facilitating workshops, seminars and other programming needs using the LCP curriculum for a diverse group of religions. The selected contractor must possess, through a combination of education and experience, a general working knowledge of a broad variety of religious traditions. The contractor must possess a Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited college or university with a major in religious studies, religious education, or related curriculum. Course work in public administration will be considered as useful in meeting the requirements of this contract. The candidate name and qualifications must be submitted at the time the quote is submitted. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The contract shall consist of a 12 month base period and the possibility of four 12 month option periods. The estimated quantities are as follows for each: Base Year - 1560 sessions; Option Year 1 - 1560 sessions; Option Year 2 - 1560 sessions; Option Year 3 - 1560 sessions; Option Year 4 - 1560 sessions. A session will be defined as (1) one hour in duration. The solicitation will be available on or about April 19, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about May 17, 2005. The solicitation is set-aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 624190 and the applicable small business size standard is $6 million. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
