- Description
- The Forest Service has a requirement for Tree Thinning services and related slash treatment on approximately 286 acres including 146 acres of pruning and related saw and hand work. The project area is located on the Umpqua National Forest, Diamond Lake Ranger District. The work is divided among 19 thinning units and 10 pruning units. This project requires the furnishing of all tools, equipment, materials, supplies (except those designated at Government-Furnished), labor, supervision, workman compensation, unemployment insurance, transportation, and incidentals to perform the required work. The estimated performance period is June through September 2005. A Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act registration and an Oregon State Farm/Forest Labor License is required. The solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps website on or about April 15, 2005 for viewing and printing. Telephone requests will not be honored.
