- Description
- Contractor shall transport Government furnished cylinders, marked both as containing Halon 1301 and empty to be filled, from the Defense Distribution Depot Richmond Virginia (DDRV); weigh cylinders, provide a detailed report of findings, inspect Government furnished 1,000 lbs. water capacity empty cylinders, reclaim material to remove physical impurities, package reclaimed Halon 1301 in Government furnished cylinders; certify by independent lab that packaged Halon 1301 meets all requirements of ASTM D 5632, Type II; and ship the filled cylinders, and any excess empty storage cylinders, back to DDRV. Contractor shall dispose of waste materials and empty system cylinder. All work except the loading/unloading of trucks, shall be performed at the contractor?s facility or one of the designated laboratories. Pick-up of material shall start within 21 days of contract award and final delivery reclaimed product shall be within 150 days of award. This solicitation will contain a detailed Statement of Work.
