Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F5003750310100. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-04 and DFARS Change Notice 2002-0002. All responsible sources shall submit a written proposal, which will be considered. Facsimile submissions will also be accepted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the solicitation is 33315; the small business size standard in number of employees is 500. THIS COMBINED SYNPOSIS/SOLICIATION IS RESTRICTED TO PORTUGAL AND IT’S TERRETORIES. Item/Services Description: Contractor shall furnish all labor materials and transportation necessary to install security cameras. Contractor shall provide a quote for the following items: (0001)Installation of 15 security cameras, 8 exterior and 7 interior. (0002) 21” flat panel color monitor P/N Computar ZM-TY-121A OR EQUAL, Quantity 4, provide unit price and extended amount. (0003) Installation of monitors, Quantity 4. ITEMS 0002 AND 0003 ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. A site visit will be conducted 06 April 2005 at 14:00. All interested parties shall meet at Contracting Bldg. T-615, Operations Flight, 2nd Floor, no later than 13:40. A copy of the insallation plan will be provided the same date, or upon request. Delivery Point: 629 AMS Bldg. Bldg. T-715, Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal PROPOSAL PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS: The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall provide a firm fixed-price offer. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offer whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Items with their offer. Successful contractor must meet all the responsibility requirements of Subpart 9.1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). A written notice of award or acceptance of offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
