- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Acquisition Center, has a requirement for STRETCHERS, MULTI-PURPOSE . INTENDED USE: General transportation of patients and for certain medical procedures. This item will be procured under full and open competitive negotiated procedures. All offerors shall be required to submit product samples and product literature by the solicitation closing date. The contract period will be for a base period of one year plus four one-year option periods. An estimated annual quantity of 340 each is anticipated. If offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted by the offeror with offer guaranteeing the solicitation quantities from the manufacturer for the base and four option periods. This solicitation may be considered as a bundled procurement and small businesses are invited to submit comments to the Contracting Officer at the following e-mail address: Jo-Ann.Hunigan@med.va.gov. An Electronic version of the solicitation will be available on or about February 7, 2005 for download at the following URL: http://vaww1.va.gov/OAMM/busopp/index.htm. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 7, 2005 with a closing date of March 9, 2005. Requests for hard copies of the solicitation must be made in writing either in facsimile form at (708) 786-5256, or by e-mail at Jo-Ann. Hunigan@med.va.gov. No telephone requests will be honored. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be posted at the URL address cited above. See Numbered Note 12.
