Description
The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) intends to hold a full and open best value competition for the design, development, fabrication, and testing of one Engineering Development Model (EDM) of the Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) Increment I system. Options for development of a Radar Environmental Simulator (RES); alternative power source; alternative trailer; integration of the Joint Single Integrated Air Space System Engineering Organization (JSSEO) Integrated Architectural Behavior Model (IABM); G/ATOR Technical Data Package (TDP); software source code/Model Driven Architecture (MDA) models; production of two G/ATOR Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) systems; initial production of the production-baselined G/ATOR system; Interim Contractor Logistics Support (ICLS); and Performance Based Logistics (PBL) of the G/ATOR system are also included. The effort will include the associated program management, system engineering, configuration management, quality assurance, testing, Integrated Logistics Support, maintenance planning, supply support, technical data, support and test equipment, operations and maintenance training and system testing. The formal RFP is planned to be released on or about 25 April 2005, with proposals due 45 days thereafter. The RFP will be released electronically on the MCSC web site.
