- This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required items under RFQ N00189-05-T-0242. FISC Norfolk intends to purchase Brand Name equipment as follows: (1) 29 Each HFC-001 PRC-150 HF Radio; (2) 29 Each MRC-99-01 IPAC Power Adapters; (3) 29 Each MRC-67A with cables, amplified speaker with cables; (4) 29 Each RMT-2 Transceiver Mount. Any equal products shall be identified as such. FOB: Point Destination to Portsmouth, VA 23709. Required Delivery: 23 September 2005. The HFC-001 PRC-150 HF Radio?s are manufactured by Harris Corporation, RF Communications Division, 1680 University Avenue, Rochester, NY 14610. The remainder of the items are manufactured by McDowell Research, 300 South 8th Street, Waco, TX 76701. This is an unrestricted procurement. Solicitation will be released on or about 06 April 2005. Responses to this solicitation are due back by 18 April 2005, 3:30 p.m. All quotes will be evaluated based on delivery and price. Delivery is more important than price. Price, while the least important will become more important as the delivery requirements are met or exceeded. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal.
