- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, Md. (NSWCIH) intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Physics Applications Inc., The procurement consist of One Standard Gun Breech w 1/2 inch diameter powder chamber, High Performance Gun Brech with breech plug volume reducer, coupler and stings, wear Section for high performance gun breech, performance calculations and pressure analysis, 8mm Rod projectile, Cup -Type sabot for low velocity test, Pusher Plate-type Sabot for high velocity test, Sabot Castings to support existing gun designed, engineered and proprietary to Physics Applications Inc., The applicable North American Industrial classification System (NIACS) code is 332995. The FSC code is 1395. The resulting purchase order will be a firm fixed price purchase order. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1). See Note 22.
