Description
The US Army Intelligence and Security Contracting Command, supporting US Army Operations Activity (USAOA), intends to acquire a personal services contract for a Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Subject Matter Expertise (SME). Interested parties must be w illing to deploy to Afghanistan, Iraq or other areas of operations as directed by the Government. This competitive procurement will be solicited as Personal Services in accordance with FAR Part 37 and 10 U.S.C. 129b(d). The work functions will include, but not limited to: management of Operational Management Teams (OMTs) and Tactical HUMINT Teams (THTs); assisting, developing, coordinating and conducting overt and controlled HUMINT operations in support of deployed US and coalition forces and intellige nce staff officer duties. All interested personnel shall have successfully completed the Military Operations Training Course or Field Tradecraft Course to be considered for this opportunity. Interested parties must have a minimum of ten (10) years of demo nstrated experience conducting and managing HUMINT operations. Successful completion of a G2X or J2X course, or previous experience serving in a 2X position is also required. Interested parties must hold an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance. The contract will be awarded for a six (6) month period of performance commencing in o/a May 2005. The draft statement of work is located on the INSCOM webpage, www.inscom.army.mil. This is a sources sought/market survey announcement to gain industry information in the development of the acquisition plan and in no way oblig ates the government to procure these services. In accordance with the provisions of DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (Mar 2000) offero rs must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
