- Description
- The Contractor shall perform aerial application of larvicides to designated mosquito larvae production areas at the Craney Island Dredged material Management Area (CIDMMA). In addition to larvicides, the contractor will be required to provide aerial application of herbicides to control stands of phragmites in designated areas at CIDMMA. The Contractor shall provide all necessary spraying materials, properly certified spray aircraft, accredited pilots, ground support personnel, and all accessory vehi cles and equipment necessary for storing, transporting and loading spray materials into the spray aircraft. The Contractor agrees to perform the spraying operation in an effective and professional manner. An accurate and uniform application of product to specified habitats is essential to achieve the desired effect of mosquito larval suppression. SIC Code 4959 applies. NAICS Code 561710 applies. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation is via the Internet. The solicitation will NOT be issued in paper format. Notification of amendments may be made by facsimile, floppy disk, compact disk and/or postings to the Internet. The media selected for solicitation amendme nts shall be solely at the discretion of the Government; accordingly, as separate notifications for each amendment may not be sent to planholders, bidders are responsible for monitoring the Internet for amendments.
