Description
The contractor shall provide operation and maintenance (O&M) support of communications and information systems under the purview of the 160th Signal Brigade and its subordinate units, other military services and customers of the 160th Signal Brigade. This includes US Security and Stabilization communications commercialization and the Coalition Multinational Forces (CMN) Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) Demand Assigned Multiple Access (DAMA) Internet Protocol (IP-based) Network. The equipment and s ystems provide communications throughout the US. Army Central Command (ARCENT) and Central Command (CENTCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR). Communications services are currently provided in Afghanistan, Djibouti, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Uzbe kistan. The contractor shall provide all management, administration, personnel, services, parts, supplies, tools, lease vehicles (quantity approved by Government), overtime, travel, training, and equipment (except for Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE), Government-Furnished Property (GFP), and Government-Provided Services as stated herein) required to perform the operation, maintenance, and repair of communication facilities, systems, and equipment. The contractor shall also perform installation and de-in stallation of equipment, perform supply functions, and provide logistics support. The contractor shall perform work required to move equipment in Government-provided transportation. The contractor shall be required to continue performance during hostiliti es in accordance with special contract requirements. The Government estimate for full time equivalents (FTEs) per year is 1048 FTEs. The contemplated contract type is cost plus fixed fee. The estimated period of performance is as follows: Phase In (1 February-31 May 2006) Base Period (1 June 2006-30 November 2006) Option 1 (1 December 2006-30 November 2007) Option 2 (1 December 2007-30 November 2008) Option 3 (1 December 2008-30 November 2009) Option 4 (1 December 2009-30 November 2010) This acquisition will be conducted on the Army Single Face to Industry at INTERNET site https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/gov_personnel_main.cfm.
