- Description
- The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services, except those listed in the solicitation as government furnished, to perform program support, administration support, quality assurance services, and technical services to the 366 Fighter Wing at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. The contractor shall provide highly qualified and specialized personnel who have technical expertise and knowledge in program support, Operational Security, Communication Security, Automated Information Security, Security Programs, and Information Systems Security. The contractor shall also provide personnel with technical expertise and knowledge in classified documentation and media control, combat readiness training, and operational employment of air combat weapons systems and facilities security relating to systems, personnel, information, and equipment, and Air Force facilities management. The contractor is required to possess a facility clearance and personnel clearances at the level of SECRET in order to be eligible for award. This solicitation results in a firm fixed-priced contract with a base year beginning 15 June 2005 through 30 September 2005 and 4 one-year options. THIS ACQUISITION IS SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. The North American Industry Classification Code is changed from the code listed above to 561210, Facilities Support Services. Solicitation document shall be made available on or about 18 April 2005. Any prospective Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires a DUNS number and may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be elibible for a timely award. This office is posting a DRAFT copy of the performance work statement (PWS). We encourage questions and comments however, all questions and comments must be submitted to this office, in writing, no later than 15 May 2005.
