Description

The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting quotes under Solicitation No. RFQ 786-112-05 for the following services: Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, material, and supplies necessary for the upgrade of the irrigation control center at Golden Gate National Cemetery, which involves: 1) replacing the existing computer; 2) replacing the existing obsolete DOS based Motorola MIR 5000 C Irrigation Control Center with the new Motorola system upgrade to Windows; 3) installing in the new computer Weather Station 2000 Software; 4) repairing and calibrating the existing weather station; 5) and, training Golden Gate National Cemetery irrigation crew and supervisory staff. Golden Gate National Cemetery is located at 1300 Sneath Lane, San Bruno, California 94066. Period of Performance is from the date of contract award through twelve months. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions of the contract. Prospective quoters are encouraged to make a site visit to Golden Gate National Cemetery. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. The NAICS Code is 221310. Size standard is $6 million. Requests for a hard copy of this solicitation must be in writing. No telephone requests will be accepted. Requests should be addressed to Cheryl Harding, Contract Specialist, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, Centralized Contracting Division (41D3A), 5105 Russell Road, Quantico, VA 22134-3903. Requests for hard copy must be accompanied by a cashier's check or money order in the amount of $25.00 (non-refundable), payable to "U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs." Please reference solicitation number RFQ 786-112-05 on remittance. Hard copy solicitations will be available on or about April 12, 2005, via the ordinary mail. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from the URL address on or about April 12, 2005. Responses to the solicitation are due by 4:00 p.m., April 27, 2005.
