- This is only a presolicitation notice, response date has been removed. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be available on or about April 27, 2005. The Federal Correctional Institution, Fairton, New Jersey, intends to issue solicitation, RFQ 20403-0019-05, for the replacement of the Emergency Lighting Invertor System in the Sierra Unit at the Institution. The Contractor shall provide the materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the replacement of the Emergency Lighting Invertor System in the Sierra Unit at the FCI as follows: Furnish new Emergi-Lite Model 277-SG-12500-IPS-277-90-ICB-OCB12(20A) Emergency Lighting Inverter System rated 12.5 kVA 277 VAC input and output 90 minutes back-up. Unit equipped with sealed batteries, cables, input circuit breaker and 12 output circuit breakers rated 20 amps each. One (1) Inverter Cabinet - Dimensions: 30"W x 46"H x 22" D. Four (4) Battery Cabinets - Dimensions: 30"W x 46"H x 22"D. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website http://fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. This is a 100% small business set-aside. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
