- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to issue a solicitation as a 100% small business set-aside for a base period of three years with two, one-year options for corporate support services at the Naval Air Depot (NADEP) located at North Island Naval Air Station, San Diego, CA. The performance start date will be 1 Apr 05 and ending 31 Mar 08, option year one performance start date 1 Apr 08 and ends 31 Mar 09, the second option year performance start date begins 1 Apr 09 and ends 31 Mar 2010. There may be a phase in period of two weeks beginning 16 Mar 04 and ending 31 Mar 04. The corporate support services being requested include, but are not limited to: 1) Mail services -incoming and outgoing mail, internal mail, Command mail and faxes shall be gathered and distributed daily. 2) Navy messaging system operations - will be monitored continuously throughout the workday and take action as required. 3) Instructions/Notices - maintain and! update the Instruction and Documentation Website, update internal and external instructions/notices, maintain backup files. 4) Travel services and permanent change of station processing - maintain travel log of all travel order requests, generate CONUS travel orders, issue travel packages and maintain a file of completed CONUS travel requests. For overseas travel - maintain a log of all Requests for Transportation, generate travel orders and maintain a file of completed overseas travel requests. Prepare passport applications and maintain passport database. Maintain log of all permanent change of station orders, generate travel orders and maintain a file of completed PCS travel requests. 5) Suggestions and awards program processing - collect and forward applications as needed, build and maintain a paper copy of enrollees applications, build and maintain an email or mailing database of enrollees. Beneficial suggestion program - log and track all submitted suggestions fo! rms, prepare reports to provide a chronological history of beneficial suggestions from submission to current status, follow-up on payments, prepare award package certificate and written explanation of award. Similar work will be done for monetary time off awards, letters of appreciations, retirement awards, length of services awards; sick leave is money awards, and honorary awards. Proposed contractor employees must be U.S. citizens and have a SECRET security clearance, or be able to get one prior to start of contract. Additional information will be provided with the RFP. The solicitation will be issued on or about 27 Dec 04 and will be available at: NECO at http://www.neco.navy.mil.
