Description

The Social Security Administration requires the services of contract doctors of psychiatry/psychology to perform reviews of medical evidence in disability claims. No contact with patients. Services will be performed at the Harold Washington Social Security Center (HWSSC), 600 W. Madison St., Chicago, IL 60661. Offerors must have necessary computer skills to view and input electronic case information. Some travel may be involved. Minimum of 8 hours of work performed at the HWSSC per week is required. Offerors must have a current, unrestricted license in any of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico. This requirement is a total small business set-aside. Offers received from other than small business concerns will not be accepted. The NAICS code for this requirement is 621112 and the size standard is $8.5 million. Solicitation SSA-RFQ-05-05-0008 will be available for downloading form the FedBizOpps website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about April 1, 2005. No hardcopies of the solicitation will be available. Successful contractor(s) will be required to pass a security background check, including fingerpint review, before beginning work under any resultant contract. Offers may be submitted either electronically or by mail (see Section F of the solicitation for submission instructions).
