Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F2N33S5077A700. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-01 and DFARS Change Notice 20050222 Edition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code to this acquisition is 335211. This combined synopsis/solicitation is unrestricted. Items required are as follows: Manufacturer Whirlpool, DEHUMIDIFIER, MODEL#AD40DSR, 40 PINTS, ADJUSTABLE HUMDSTAT, AUTOMATIC DE-ICER, AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF, EASY ROLLER SYSTEM, DRAIN HOSE CONNECTION, 115 VOLTS/60HZ or Equal (200 each). If it is an equal item the Offeror should submit specifications. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall provide a firm fixed-price for above items. Offerors unable to meet the target delivery date of 30 calendar days after contract award must provide projected delivery date. Successful contractor must meet all the responsibility requirements of Subpart 9.1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). A written notice of award or acceptance of offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Evaluation will be made based on the lowest price offer, with the proposed delivery date closest to our target delivery date. If shipping items from the United States, the nearest east coast departure point to Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal is CONSOLIDATION & CONTAINERIZATION POINT, DEFENSE DEPOT SUSQUEHANNA (DDSP), BLDG 2001, NEW CUMBERLAND, PA 17070-5001, shipping prices to this destination shall be included in the line item.
